Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to produce cheapest electricity in Pakistan

Advisor on Finance Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Muzamil Aslam, announced that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa plans to produce the cheapest electricity in Pakistan and establish its own electricity supplier company.

He stated that the province will generate electricity at a cost of Rs 6 per unit, significantly lower than the Rs 62 per unit currently supplied by the federal government.

During a press conference in Islamabad, Muzamil Aslam presented the 100-day performance report of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government. He stated that the provincial government will provide solar panels to 1 million people of the province.

Aslam also stated that seven billion rupees have been allocated for law and order. Furthermore, in the Ramadan package, each family received 10,000 rupees.

In comparison, Punjab provided 3,000 rupees per family, and Sindh provided 5,000 rupees.
