The Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO) has announced another increase in its electricity connection fee, raising it by 100%. This marks the second time this year that the demand notice fee for three-phase meters has been increased.
According to a notification issued by LESCO, the total increase over the past year amounts to 50,000 PKR. The cost of the demand notice has risen from 22,000 PKR to 69,500 PKR.

This price adjustment is due to the switch to Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) meters. From July 1st, all new demand notices will be issued at the updated rate.
