ICC reveals T20 world cup 2024 team of the tournament

The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced the team of the tournament for the T20 World Cup 2024. The Indian cricket team, which triumphed over South Africa in the final, has six players in the XI. Surprisingly, no South African players were included in the team despite being the runners-up.

Indian skipper Rohit Sharma, who excelled with the bat, leads the team. Middle-order star Suryakumar Yadav also made the cut. India’s bowling unit dominated, with pacers Jasprit Bumrah and Arshdeep Singh, and all-rounder Hardik Pandya being honored.

The Rohit Sharma-led team ended their 11-year wait for an ICC title and their 17-year hiatus as T20 world champions with a victory in Barbados. In a thrilling final, India turned the match in their favor with stellar death bowling from Jasprit Bumrah, Hardik Pandya, and Arshdeep Singh.
