Pakistani TV host Anoushey Ashraf recently announced her marriage on Instagram with a witty caption.
Dressed in a white saree, the pictures suggest it was a simple nikkah ceremony. Ashraf humorously addressed a common question with her caption, “Beta aapne abhi tak shaadi kyun nahi ki? [Dear, why haven’t you got married yet?]” followed by, “Lo, Karli [See, I just did it].”
The announcement received warm wishes from many Pakistani celebrities, including Ayeza Khan, Aiman Khan and Durefishan Saleem.

Ashraf’s sister, Natasha Qizilbash, also shared her excitement by posting a picture of the newlyweds from another occasion and congratulating them. She posted fun videos from the event as well.
Anoushey Ashraf gained fame in the early 2000s as one of the first video jockeys (VJs) in the industry, becoming the face of a popular private music channel.
