Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan has made alarming allegations, claiming that his wife, Bushra Bibi, was targeted with poisoning while in Bani Gala. During a hearing on the 190 million pound reference at Adiala Jail, Imran Khan addressed Accountability Court Judge Naseer Javaid Rana, expressing deep concern over the incident. He asserted that signs of poison were evident on Bushra Bibi’s skin and tongue, prompting him to demand a comprehensive medical examination for her. Imran Khan stated firmly, “I know who is behind this.”
Imran Khan further implicated General Asim Munir, warning that he would hold him accountable if anything untoward were to happen to Bushra Bibi. He raised suspicions about the influence of ISI personnel, alleging their control from Bani Gala to Adiala Jail.
Imran Khan called for medical examination to be conducted by Dr.Asim of Shaukat Khanum Hospital, expressing distrust towards the current medical personnel involved. He also urged for an inquiry into the alleged poisoning of Benazir Bhutto.
The court responded by directing Imran Khan to submit a detailed request regarding Bushra Bibi’s medical examination, underscoring the gravity of the accusations and the necessity for thorough investigation.
