Bilawal Bhutto provides major assurance to PM regarding budget

WEB DESK: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Bilawal Bhutto’s important meeting has concluded, with Bilawal Bhutto assuring the Prime Minister of full cooperation on the budget.

Details indicate that the meeting between Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Pakistan Peoples Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto has ended. According to sources, Bilawal Bhutto expressed his concerns regarding the budget to the Prime Minister. Party leaders handed over a list of demands to the Prime Minister, including the PPP’s demand for administrative control over South Punjab.

The Chairman of the PPP lamented that the government does not take them into confidence in decision-making processes. He also complained that the federal government is not showing seriousness in various projects in Sindh.

However, Bilawal Bhutto assured the Prime Minister of cooperation on the budget. The Prime Minister hosted a dinner in honor of Bilawal Bhutto and his team. Senior leaders from both political parties, including the Prime Minister and Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, attended the dinner.

Earlier, while discussing the budget in the National Assembly, Opposition Leader Umar Ayub stated that the budget was crafted by an economic hitman against the people and Pakistan. He questioned whether the PPP would support the budget. If the PPP does not participate in the government’s budget session, it could create difficulties for the government.
