Punjab Food Minister Bilal Yasin announced that future Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) exams will no longer be conducted at private schools or colleges.
In an effort to enhance security and reduce cheating, all exam papers will feature a barcode and a watermark, and invigilating staff will not be posted at any center for more than two days.
Yasin stated that exam centers will only be established for groups of at least 500 students and will be located in open areas rather than schools situated in narrow streets.

Furthermore, there will be rigorous monitoring of exam centers using CCTV cameras and the presence of special branch officers.
These changes were discussed during a meeting led by Yasin to investigate a cheating scam in the matriculation exams of BISEs.
The meeting was attended by Minister for Local Government Zeeshan Rafique, as well as officers from the Home Department, Higher Education Department (HED), and Special Branch. During the meeting, the HED secretary provided a briefing on the current situation.
