PTI leaders Aliya Hamza and Sanam Javed granted bail in May 9 cases

WEB DESK: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Sanam Javed was released from jail, and the police re-arrested her as soon as she came out.

PTI women leaders Sanam Javed and Aliya Hamza could not be released; after Sanam Javed was released from jail Gujranwala police re-arrested her.

However, it should be noted that the Special Court for Combating Terrorism in Sargodha had approved the bail of PTI leaders Sanam Javed and Aliya Hamza in three cases on May 9.

In addition, there were three cases filed against both leaders in Mianwali regarding May 9. The Special Court for Combating Terrorism approved bail in all three cases, after which action was taken to detain both women leaders.

Similarly, another case was filed in Police Station Musa Khel Mianwali, in which interim bail was granted. The lawyers stated that after the detention of both leaders, their release from jail would be possible.

Furthermore, it should be remembered that last week, JI Gujranwala was granted permission to inspect Sanam Javed and Alia Hamza in Sargodha jail for the investigation of the May 9 incident.

During the hearing of the case of vandalism on May 9 in Gujranwala in the court for combating terrorism, a request was made by JI for permission to inspect Sanam Javed and Alia Hamza.

Furthermore, it was stated in the request that Sanam Javed and Alia Hamza are in Sargodha jail. At the request of JI, a reference was also made to a letter from the FIA and social media videos.

The court had granted permission to FIA to inspect both the accused in Sargodha jail.
