PMD predicts rainfall in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

The Meteorological Department has issued a forecast indicating the likelihood of rainfall in specific regions of Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Punjab today.

In Islamabad, residents are advised to brace for hot weather throughout the day, with intermittent rain expected in various areas by evening.

While Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Punjab anticipate rainfall today, other parts of the country are set to endure hot and dry weather conditions. The Meteorological Department has forecasted scorching temperatures reaching up to 49 degrees Celsius in Sibbi and 48 degrees in Turbat.

Islamabad is expected to experience a high of 43 degrees Celsius, Lahore 44 degrees Celsius, and Karachi 35 degrees Celsius, as reported by the department’s spokesperson.

Residents are advised to take precautions against the intense heat and monitor local updates for any changes in weather conditions.

Rain is expected later today in lower Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, northeast Balochistan, and central/south Punjab, offering relief from the current weather conditions in those areas.
