National Highway Authority (NHA) has once again increased toll taxes for vehicles operating on the Islamabad-Peshawar Motorway M-1.
Effective from July 1st, toll taxes for vehicles using the motorway have been raised. The toll tax for cars has been increased from Rs. 240 to Rs. 350, while for wagons it has been increased from Rs. 400 to Rs. 550, and for coasters and Mazda vehicles from Rs. 550 to Rs. 700.
Similarly, the toll tax for buses has been increased from Rs. 790 to Rs. 1,000, for trucks from Rs. 1,040 to Rs. 1,300, and for trailers from Rs. 1,270 to Rs. 1,500.
