Kia Stonic price hiked by Rs7 lakh after limited time offer expires

WEB DESK: Kia Motors Pakistan has revised its pricing strategy for the Kia Stonic EX+ following the expiration of a limited-time discount offer.

Initially introduced at Rs5,500,000 due to high demand for the 1300cc vehicle during its 5-year celebration limited-time offer, Kia Motors temporarily halted bookings to assess stock availability. A statement from Kia emphasised their commitment to customer satisfaction, ensuring the best value for their vehicles amidst higher-than-expected demand.

Starting July 1, 2024, Kia Motors has reopened bookings for the Kia Stonic EX+, with deliveries scheduled from December 2024 onwards. To secure a booking, customers must make a partial payment of Rs2,500,000. Orders booked with partial payments for December 2024 and January 2025 deliveries will benefit from a price lock, contingent upon any significant devaluation of the local currency against the US Dollar or increases in duties, taxes, and levies imposed by the Federal or Provincial Governments at the time of delivery.

The Kia Stonic price adjustment follows Kia Pakistan’s earlier ex-factory price of Rs6,280,000, which was reduced by Rs1,513,000 in April 2024, causing a stir in the automotive market. Kia expressed gratitude for the overwhelming response during the limited-time offer, which surpassed expectations and necessitated the temporary suspension of bookings.

Kia Motors remains committed to prioritizing customer needs and satisfaction, aiming to provide transparent and competitive pricing amidst market dynamics and regulatory changes.
