A badminton player suddenly collapsed and passed away during a match while trying to win.
According to foreign media reports, a 17-year-old Chinese player, Zhang Zhi, collapsed on the field and passed away during the Asian Badminton Tournament in the Yogyakarta province of Indonesia.

The cause of his death could not be determined, however, the Asian and Chinese governing bodies for badminton have expressed their condolences on his passing.
Media reports stated that Zhang Zhi was representing his country in the men’s singles competitions at the Badminton Asia Junior Championship held in Yogyakarta, Indonesia.
He suddenly collapsed on the court during an evening match. The player was immediately taken to the hospital for medical assistance but had already passed away
