Temperature could reach up to 50 degrees in Punjab today

The Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) spokesperson for Punjab has stated that temperatures could rise to 45 to 50 degrees Celsius today (Monday). The spokesperson mentioned that severe heatwave conditions are possible in Bahawalpur, Rahim Yar Khan, Dera Ghazi Khan, and Multan.

They reported that yesterday, Khanpur recorded 50 degrees Celsius, Rahim Yar Khan 49 degrees Celsius, and Kot Addu 48 degrees Celsius.

The PDMA spokesperson stated that Lahore and surrounding areas recorded temperatures up to 44 degrees Celsius yesterday.
