The Karachi police have uncovered an alleged “organized cheating mafia” network in the city, leading to the arrest of an individual involved in leaking matric exam paper.
According to details, authorities have arrested a suspect involved in the leakage of class IX and X papers. The suspect is reportedly studying Artificial Intelligence (AI).
During interrogation, Sharjeel Rehman confessed to leaking examination papers for classes IX and X online, just 30 minutes before the exams began.

SSP-Central Zeeshan Shafiq Siddiqi said that Sharjeel Rehman was the admin of a WhatsApp group named “2k24,” where he shared leaked exam papers and their solved answers. He also named Fayaz Jamali and Sufiyan as other suspects who served as admins of the same group.
Sharjeel and his WhatsApp group were exposed when a senior government official visited an examination center on May 14 and discovered several WhatsApp groups being used by students for cheating.
