Former Prime Minister and head of the Awam Pakistan Party, Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, stated that the country does not progress because no one adheres to their oaths.
He added that political stability cannot be achieved in a country where elections are stolen. Abbasi highlighted that every system in the world has been tried, and now it’s time to follow the constitution.
Speaking at an event in Karachi, Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said that political parties create manifestos but then forget about them, and that all party manifestos are essentially the same.
Moreover, he remarked that there is no doubt that every Pakistani is troubled today. In social gatherings, people often ask what will happen to the country and what the solution to the nation’s problems is.
Abbasi further mentioned that governments are meant to serve the public and provide them with essential services, such as electricity, water, and healthcare.
In addition, he stressed that the solution to the country’s problems lies within the constitution, and nations that violate their constitutions do not progress. He called for action to solve these issues.

Shahid Khaqan Abbasi reiterated that every system in the world has been tested, and now it’s time to focus on the constitution.
Furthermore, he said the country cannot progress without reforms and that nothing will improve unless we follow the constitutional path. All solutions are embedded in the constitution, and political stability cannot be achieved in a country where elections are stolen.
He pointed out that the IPP (Independent Power Producer) issue exists, but the real problem is the failure of the economy. The economic situation today is the same as it was ten years ago, and our leadership is still focused on their own interests. He also criticized the absence of any ministers when Arshad Nadeem was leaving the country.
