New case filed against Imran Khan in Tosha Khana Case

WEB DESK: New case has emerged against the founder of Pakistan Tehreek Insaf Imran Khan, and his wife Bushra Bibi in the Tosha Khana case.

As per the information provided, the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) is set to look into the unlawful keeping and sale of 10 precious items, including seven expensive watches, diamonds, and gold jewellery.

In addition,  Ten expensive presents, including a Graff watch, a Rolex watch, and a set of diamonds and gold, were received and sold illegally, according to the investigation report.

Furthermore, a costly collection of Graff watches was sold without an appraisal, and presents were often auctioned off without being retained in their ownership, according to the investigation. An email from Tosha Khana confirming a 30 million reduction in the price of the Graff watch was already sent to the buyer, who had benefited from the appraiser’s indulgence.

According to the inquiry report, the value of the Graff watch was assessed at 109.2 million rupees, of which 20% amounting to 21.78 million rupees was deposited into the government treasury, while each gift must be reported and deposited into Tosha Khana. Only gifts worth up to 30,000 rupees can be kept free of charge.
