LAHORE: Punjab Information Minister Azma Bukhari said on Tuesday that the founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and Bushra Bibi are serving lavish jail terms.
Reacting to PTI leader Barrister Saif’s statement, Azma Bukhari said “both Imran Khan and his wife are not in jail but in their aunt’s house, don’t worry.”
In addition, Azma Bukhari posed the question: what position should the founders of PTI and Bushra Bibi be shifted to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa? Place the remaining prisoners in their appropriate provinces.

She added that the PTI founder and Bushra Bibi are receiving preferential treatment in jail. Their cases are ongoing in court, and the jail administration is conducting tests on them.
The provincial minister also remarked that while favorable court decisions are celebrated, they have endured political retaliation without complaining as others do.
