The Lahore Circle of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has arrested members of an international human trafficking network in Lahore, based on intelligence from various agencies.

The FIA spokesperson reported that the network deceived individuals by promising them jobs abroad and then exploited them.

The group in Lahore was found to be producing counterfeit documents at their printing press for multiple countries.

It was also revealed that this Lahore-based network had connections with international criminal groups.

The spokesperson noted that Indian and Afghan nationals were involved in these activities. During the investigation, an Indian conspiracy to discredit Pakistan was also uncovered.

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi commended the intelligence agencies and FIA for their successful operation, calling it a significant step in combating human trafficking.

Naqvi emphasized that similar operations will continue to prevent human trafficking, and the authorities will take strict measures against those involved.
