How long will monsoon rains last in Pakistan?

The Meteorological Department has forecasted severe monsoon conditions for the upper and central regions of the country from July 2 to July 7.

Rawalpindi and Gujranwala divisions, along with the Potohar region and Central Punjab, are expected to experience light rain in localized areas. In South Punjab, rainfall is anticipated between July 4 and July 7.

The department has issued warnings about potential landslides and floods due to increased river flows in the eastern regions.

Meanwhile, Sindh is expected to face extremely hot and humid weather during this period.
