The Prime Minister’s School Meals Program will commence in federal schools from Monday, providing meals to children.
The Prime Minister’s School Meals Program will start tomorrow in public primary schools, utilising the Prime Minister’s National Nutrition Initiative’s fireless technology. Under this program, 60,000 meals will be prepared using state-of-the-art centralized kitchens.

Moreover, sources indicate that this steam cooking technology will cook food in food-grade cooking vessels. After cooking, the food will be placed in insulated containers and then sent for delivery to schools.
In addition, the program will benefit children from 217 primary schools in the federal area. With the availability of meals along with education, it is expected that school attendance will increase, and students’ health will improve alongside their education.
