The Auditor General of Pakistan has uncovered Rs750 million in financial irregularities at Islamabad Club.

A recent audit report reveals that despite a Rs199.2 million loss for the 2022-23 fiscal year, the club awarded Rs100 million in bonuses.

Moreover, the audit also found Rs. 300 million misallocated to unapproved in-house projects, including Rs14.4 million for a lake construction and Rs16.1 million for floodlights without bidding.

Additionally, Rs104.5 million in unpaid fees and Rs93.6 million spent on unapproved civil works were noted, along with Rs25 million in membership fee refunds and Rs105 million on development projects. The hiring of a consultant for Rs4.4 million without competition was also criticized.
