A TikTok woman who spread propaganda about a Lahore private college on social media by pretending to be a fake mother was arrested.
According to the police, the fake mother Sara Khan was arrested by the CIA Model Town Police from outside the court.
Deputy Inspector General Organised Crime Unit Imran Kishor says that the woman will be produced in the court and remanded, the case of the woman being a fake mother and spreading propaganda on social media has been registered in Gulberg police station, the case is under PECA Act. was entered.
It may be noted that the said woman posted a video on social media on October 18 in which she alleged that the girl who was allegedly raped in a Lahore private college was her daughter.
The accused Sara Khan tried to incite public anger against the state by creating a fabricated story. The accused was identified as Sara Khan, a resident of Karachi.
It should be remembered that on October 14, the news of the alleged rape of a female student of a private college in Lahore went viral on social media, and the police declared the incident unconfirmed after investigation.
DIG Operations Lahore Faisal Kamran said in this regard that we do not have any complainant in the private college student case, the children are being misguided.
He said that all the public and private hospitals in Lahore were checked, but we did not find any affected girl, nor did the students say anything about the incident.
