LOS ANGELES: Netflix has confirmed that the highly anticipated second season of Squid Game will premiere on December 26, 2024. The streaming giant dropped a thrilling teaser today, hinting at the intense drama to come.
Creator Hwang Dong-hyuk shared the news with fans worldwide, promising that “the real game begins” with Season 2. A third and final season is also in the works, slated for release in 2026.
The new season will follow protagonist Gi-hun as he delves deeper into the mysterious organisation behind the deadly game. Armed with his winnings, he’s determined to expose those responsible and end their brutal operation.
