WEB DESK: In a revealing behind-the-scenes video, the Hawkins kids, now seasoned actors, are seen in character amidst intricate sets of Stranger Things 5.
“I started when I was 10, I’m now turning 20 years old,” shares Millie Bobby Brown, known for her role as Eleven. “Feels very weird.”
Noah Schnapp, portraying Will Byers, adds, “It’s just so exciting, I think this is going to be the best season yet.”
According to the Duffer Brothers, production for the final season of Stranger Things is halfway completed, with filming expected to wrap around Christmas, aiming for a 2025 premiere.

Maya Hawke, discussing the final season on Podcrushed, likened the eight episodes to “eight movies,” noting their extended length. “Our showrunners, Matt and Ross [Duffer], take a lot of responsibility,” she emphasized. “They have an amazing team of writers, but they’re very involved.”
The production also announced the casting of Nell Fisher, Jake Connelly, and Alex Breaux for Stranger Things 5.
While this marks the conclusion of Stranger Things, additional projects are in development, including Stranger Things: The First Shadow, a live stage production in London’s West End, and an animated spinoff series.
Stranger Things first premiered on Netflix in 2016, quickly becoming one of the platform’s most popular shows. Its recent fourth season garnered 140 million views globally.
