KARACHI: Comedian and singer Babbu Rana opened about up monthly income of host Aftab Iqbal.
Rana has collaborated with Iqbal for years and has talked about his experience on a podcast with actor Ahmed Ali Butt.

When asked about the monthly income of Aftab Iqbal, Babbu Rana revealed that the host used to earn between Rs15-Rs20 million per month while working on Express TV.
“Dubai’s cost of living gave him a clear perspective, but he earned significantly while in Pakistan,” Rana said.
The conversation also hinted at Iqbal’s potential return to Pakistan, with Babbu teasing, “Insha’Allah, there’s good news coming in one or two months.”

Babbu praised Iqbal’s dedication to quality and his demand for excellence from his team. He recounted how Iqbal often asks newcomers to study his work for months before joining his shows. “He wants those who truly wish to learn, not those who think they already know it all,” Babbu added.
The podcast also highlighted past tensions involving Iqbal. Veteran actor Sohail Ahmed, in a previous appearance on the same podcast, advised Iqbal to adopt humility.
“A show doesn’t run on one person alone. Respecting the team is essential,” Ahmed said.
