WEBDESK: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) plans to form three separate teams for ICC Champions Trophy 2025 warm-ups to help international teams prepare.
This will allow international teams to get used to local conditions while also giving domestic players a chance to play against top-level cricketers.
According to sources, these teams will play practice matches against the participating teams of the Champions Trophy before the main tournament begins.
Under this plan, Pakistan teams will play in three different locations: Karachi, Lahore, and Dubai.
Additionally, New Zealand and South Africa will have an opportunity to prepare for the tournament by playing in a tri-series against Pakistan. This series will begin on February 8 with a match between Pakistan and New Zealand.
ICC Men’s Champions Trophy trophy, which has completed its world tour, will be displayed in major cities, including Lahore, until February 15.

The physical ticket sales for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 have officially begun following the online sale. Cricket fans can now buy tickets for Pakistan’s matches from 108 TCS Express centres across 26 cities in Pakistan.
The ICC has set the general stand ticket prices for matches in Karachi, Lahore, and Rawalpindi at Rs1,000. Premium seating tickets are available in different categories, starting from Rs1,500.

On the other hand, PCB has also praised the quick upgrade of Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore, declaring it a world record for the fastest renovation in cricket.
Gaddafi Stadium is set to host four matches during the Champions Trophy, including the second semi-final on March 5. If India doesn’t qualify for the final, the match will be held in Lahore on March 9.
