Xiaomi has officially unveiled the Redmi 14C, a new budget-friendly smartphone that promises to deliver reliable performance at a low price.

The device is powered by a sizable 5,160 mAh battery that supports 18W wired charging, ensuring sufficient power for daily use. However, the Redmi 14C does not offer reverse wired charging capabilities.

Moreover, starting at just $130 in Czechia, the Redmi 14C is available in a variety of color options, including Midnight Black, Sage Green, Dreamy Purple, and the eye-catching Starry Blue.

Design and Display

The Redmi 14C sports a 6.88-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 720p and a refresh rate of 120Hz, ensuring smooth visuals and a responsive experience. Despite its budget status, the screen achieves peak brightness levels of up to 600 nits.

Additionally, the design includes a U-shaped notch for the front camera and a noticeable bottom bezel, which is typical for phones in this price range. A side-mounted fingerprint sensor is integrated into the power button for quick and convenient access.

Performance and Software

The Redmi 14C is powered by the newly introduced Helio G81 Ultra chipset, which features an octa-core CPU configuration similar to the Helio G80 Ultra.

This setup is complemented by multiple memory options, ranging from 4GB to 8GB of RAM and storage variants of 128GB and 256GB, with the ability to expand further via a microSD card slot. The device runs on the latest Android 14 operating system, offering users a modern software experience out of the box.
