ISLAMABAD: Pakistan will host the Under-23 World Squash Championship in April 2025 after 20 years. The event will take place from April 6 to April 10, 2025, in Karachi, as confirmed by World Squash.
Pakistan last hosted a World Squash event in 2005. After 20 years, the country will once again have the honour of hosting a major international squash event.
The Pakistan Squash Federation (PSF) has organised the tournament, which will include the world’s best young squash players, including men’s and women’s singles events, each featuring 32 participants. To ensure broad representation, the organisers have limited entry to two players per national federation.
Players will compete for their share of a $60,000 prize pool and crucial PSA ranking points, adding both prestige and incentive to the competition.
This event will be an important milestone for squash in Pakistan and will further boost the country’s reputation in the sport.
