Previously, the Excise Department in Lahore decided to cancel the registration of all vehicles whose buyers have not yet transferred ownership into their names.

Director Motors Chaudhry Asif stated that buyers are required to transfer vehicle ownership within 30 days of purchase.

He revealed that over 1,600 vehicle owners have already requested the cancellation of their registration this year for failing to meet this requirement.
