Suzuki increases the prices for two of its popular motorcycle models.
Effective from October 15, 2024, the Suzuki GD110S and GS150 have experienced a price hike of Rs7,000 each. The new prices now stand at Rs359,000 for the GD110S and Rs389,000 for the GS150.
New Price Breakdown
- Suzuki GD110S: Rs359,000 (previously Rs352,000)
- Suzuki GS150: Rs389,000 (previously Rs382,000)
These prices include ex-factory product costs and freight charges. However, the final price at the time of delivery may vary based on any further fluctuations and applicable government taxes.
Possible reasons for the price hike
While Pak Suzuki has not provided an official reason for the price increase, it is believed that rising production costs, increasing demand, and potential regulatory changes could be contributing factors.
This upward adjustment in prices may impact the affordability of these motorcycles, which are popular among middle-income consumers across Pakistan.
GS-150 installment offer
Pak Suzuki introduced an enticing 0 per cent markup installment plan for the Suzuki GS-150 in August 2024. Buyers can avail themselves of this offer with a 25 per cent down payment, and the bike can be paid off through a 24-month installment plan. This offer provides significant relief for potential buyers who may be deterred by the price increase.
Customer sentiment
This price adjustment could potentially dampen consumer enthusiasm, especially for those considering purchasing a bike under financial constraints.
However, the installment plan may serve as a helpful alternative for buyers still interested in acquiring the GS-150 without facing immediate financial pressure.
