WEB DESK: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Secretary-General Salman Akram Raja has reversed his decision to resign, addressing concerns over internal party criticism stemming from a recent unsuccessful protest.
Raja took the first step towards his resignation out of fear that the failure of an earlier protest would be attributed to the leadership he provided in such a case, according to the Express-News reports. However, ensuing conversations among PTI leaders redirected the blame regarding the failure to the central leadership of the party, compelling Raja to withdraw his resignation.

This resignation comes at a critical juncture after PTI staged a protest on 24 November. The event also sparked controversy at the party level when PTI Khyber Pakhtunkhwa leader Shaukat Yousafzai questioned the PTI Punjab leadership.
Expressing his disappointment over the incident at D-Chowk, Yousafzai condemned the absence of Punjab leadership, interrogating whether the party would be led by Bushra Bibi or the formal leadership. He suggested that such people who are not able to take responsibility should resign.
