Three Afghan women were arrested at Karachi airport when they were attempting to travel to Germany on forged documents, according to the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA).

The women were found to be using fake medical and business documents.

A case has been registered against them, and they have been handed over to the FIA’s anti-human trafficking unit for further investigation.

Who were these women?

One of them claimed that she had received treatment at a hospital in Islamabad between April 27 and May 20, 2024. However, it was revealed that she never visited Pakistan.

Apart from this, other nine foreigners at Karachi airport were arrested, attempting to travel abroad using forged documents.
