KARACHI: In a shocking incident, thieves have stolen parts of a CT scan machine and other equipment from a Sindh government hospital in Karachi’s Liaquatabad area, as reported by ARY News.

The stolen items from the Advanced Trauma Centre include wiring, circuits, UPS systems, batteries, and other essential components. The CT scan machine, which was installed at a cost of over Rs 10 million, is now out of service, forcing patients to be referred to other hospitals for their scans.

Sources have revealed that the investigation into the theft has been halted by influential authorities, raising concerns about the handling of the case.
