The National Highway and Motorway Police (NHMP) have successfully returned a mobile phone valued at Rs 120,000 to its rightful owner, following a swift operation on Tuesday.

The incident occurred when a family traveling from Lahore to Islamabad discovered they had misplaced their phone during a stop at the Kalar Kahar service area on the motorway. Upon realising the loss, they promptly alerted the NHMP.

Responding quickly, officers from the NHMP North Zone were able to trace the lost device and ensure its safe return to the relieved owner.

The family expressed their gratitude for the honesty and efficiency demonstrated by the Motorway Police.

NHMP spokesperson Muhammad Saqib stated that the incident underscores the department’s unwavering commitment to public safety and service.
