MG is gearing up to unveil the 2025 MG ZS on August 26, 2024, with a fresh design that sets it apart from its predecessors.

Teasers hint at significant updates, including a revamped front grille, redesigned headlights, and styling cues borrowed from the latest MG HS and MG 3 hatchback.

Additionally, significant updates are expected both inside and out. A camouflaged version spotted in Sydney suggests a redesigned interior with a squared-off steering wheel, T-bar shifter, and a larger infotainment touchscreen with separated air vents.

Moreover, the 2025 MG ZS will offer various powertrains, including a new Hybrid+ option that pairs a 1.5-litre petrol engine with an electric motor, delivering 158kW.

The hybrid setup is expected to enhance fuel efficiency and performance. Traditional petrol engines will still be available, including a naturally aspirated 1.5-litre engine and a turbocharged variant, producing 119kW and 250Nm of torque.

In addition, the new MG ZS will launch in Australia in late 2024, with petrol models arriving first and the hybrid version in 2025.

Furthermore, an updated ZS EV is expected by 2026. No announcement has been made for a launch in Pakistan, but MG Pakistan could easily import the necessary components given the compatibility with right-hand-drive vehicles.
