The Asian Cricket Council (ACC) has revealed that India will host the Men’s Asia Cup in 2025 with matches played in the T20 format. Bangladesh will then host the 2027 Men’s Asia Cup, which will be played in the ODI format.

Each tournament will include six teams: India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, and one additional team that will be determined through a qualifying event.

The ACC has confirmed that the 2026 Women’s Asia Cup will also be played in the T20 format. This announcement came following the release of an Invitation for Expressions of Interest (IEOI) document on Saturday.
