WEBDESK: Famous YouTuber and content creator Rajab Butt, who recently appeared on the show Dais Book, responded to a question about family vlogging by stating that people will only be happy if he either shuts down his channel or goes to jail.
He also responded to the backlash he received over his lavish wedding in December, claiming that people who criticise him are simply “threatened by his success.” The wedding, which featured expensive gifts, including a gun and a lion cub, became a topic of controversy and even led to legal issues.
In an appearance on Dais Book, Rajab Butt expressed that criticism was expected from people who feel insecure about his achievements. “When a jobless son of a rich man sees a poor guy driving a Land Cruiser, he will feel sad and criticize him,” he said, adding that this is the same kind of reaction he gets from those who are uncomfortable with his success.
Rajab also drew comparisons with fellow creator Ducky, who faced early criticism but later rose to success. He noted that once he became a top vlogger, the criticism increased, but he doesn’t let it affect him.
Explaining his wedding, Rajab Butt clarified that it was a traditional affair with mayun, mehndi, barat, and walima, and he couldn’t stop his friends from celebrating his happiness in their own way.
He also emphasized that his success was hard-earned, starting from zero, and that people should take inspiration from his journey rather than feel envious or frustrated.
Rajab ended by stating, “I can’t hide my life from the people. I’m not selling anything; this is who I am, and I’m proud of what I’ve achieved.”
