KARACHI: The price of gold in the country increases on Saturday, the last trading day of the week, with an increase of Rs400, aligning with gold prices in the international market.
According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Association, after this rise, the price of one tola of gold has reached Rs292,200.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold was Rs250,514 after it recorded an increase of Rs343.
On the other hand, the price of gold in the international market has increased by $5, reaching $2,797 per ounce, with an additional premium of $20.
On the other hand the Finance Division revised the prices of petroleum products on Friday, increasing both petrol and diesel, starting from today February 01, 2025.
According to the notification, the price of petrol was hiked by Rs1 per liter to Rs257.13 per liter, while the high-speed diesel (HSD) price was fixed at Rs267.95 with an increase of Rs7 per liter.
“The Oil & Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has reviewed and adjusted consumer prices for petroleum products in view of recent fluctuations in the international oil market,” the notification read.
