Indian actor, Vikrant Massey has announced a break via social media from acting “until time deems right”.
The star who created waves for his part in the movie 12th fail said that his fans would see him for the last time in 2025 and that the next year will feature his last two films together with many years of memories.
In an Instagram post, Massey said, “the last few years and beyond have been phenomenal” and thanked each and every one of his fans for their support.
“But as I move forward, I realise it’s time to recalibrate and go back home. As a husband, father, and a son. And also as an actor.”
A few days ealier, Vikrant Massey spoke about how “we must always be ready to restart.”
The post came as a shock to Massey’s fans and followers, especially since the 37-year-old is considered to be at the peak of his career currently with back-to-back successes, including 12th Fail, Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba (2024), Sector 36 (2024) and The Sabarmati Report (2024).
In fact, the actor has even earned the support and appreciation of the ruling party members, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, for his role in the recently-released The Sabarmati Report.
Some of his fans think that he made his choice because he got threats for his movie.
The actor also recently opened up that even his infant son Vardaan also received threats and backlash for The Sabarmati Report.
