Earlier this month, the National Highway Authority (NHA) announced a limited-time free M-Tag facility. The NHA urged the public to acquire their M-Tags without delay, as they have become mandatory for travel on the Lahore-Sialkot Motorway (M-11) since August 16.

The NHA emphasized that the M-Tag system saves time and reduces travel costs by ensuring that public funds are managed through transparent digital transactions.
