The Capital Development Authority (CDA) plans to launch digital advertising boards modeled after New York’s Times Square.

The decision was made during a meeting led by CDA Chairman Mohammad Ali Randhawa to discuss the Advertisement Policy 2024. The new policy seeks to modernize advertising practices in the city.

Chairman Mohammad Ali Randhawa instructed to finalize and immediately implement the Advertisement Policy 2024, which will replace traditional advertising methods with digital boards throughout the city.

The CDA chairman was informed that digital boards will be set up across highways, major avenues, commercial areas, and bus stops.
