Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has accepted Omar Ayub’s resignation as Secretary General.

Omar Ayub had announced his resignation from the position of PTI Secretary General on June 27, after which he also resigned from his role as Chairman of the PTI Central Finance Board.

His resignation letter, addressed to PTI founder Imran Khan, is dated June 22, 2024.

Moreover, In the letter, Omar Ayub mentioned that serving as PTI’s Secretary General since May 2023 was an honor, and he expressed his deep gratitude for the trust placed in him and the opportunity to serve as the Secretary General of Pakistan’s largest political party.

In addition, he also thanked Senator Shibli Faraz, the core committee, and organizational members for their remarkable support, stating that he felt unable to do justice to the responsibilities of Secretary General, which led to his decision to step down.

Furthermore, Imran Khan has accepted Umar Ayub’s resignation as PTI’s Secretary General.
