Director General of Sports Punjab, Pervez Iqbal, has unveiled plans to build a cutting-edge stadium in Mian Channu, honoring Pakistan’s Olympic gold medalist, Arshad Nadeem.

This move comes as a tribute to Nadeem’s historic achievement at the 2024 Paris Olympics, where he secured gold in javelin with a record-breaking throw.

Moreover, the meeting between DG Sports Punjab and Nadeem celebrated the athlete’s success, while also outlining initiatives aimed at nurturing athletic talent across Punjab.
