ISLAMABAD: The federal government on Wednesday notified the increase in the price of petrol by Rs3.47 per litre, fixing the rates at Rs256.13 for the second fortnight of January.
According to an official notification issued by the Finance Division, the price of high-speed diesel (HSD) was also hiked by Rs2.61 to Rs260.95 per litre.
The new prices will come into effect from January 16, 2025.
