Gold prices in Pakistan increased by Rs700 per tola on Tuesday, reaching the price of 24-karat gold at Rs275,200 per tola.
According to rates shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), 10 grammes of gold was sold at Rs235,940 after it recorded an increase of Rs600.
The price of silver remained unchanged at Rs3,400 per tola.
The increase in the gold price in the local market is followed by ongoing fluctuations in the international rate.
The international rate of gold decreased on Monday. As per APGJSA, the rate was $2,640 per ounce (with a premium of $20) and was down by $7 during the day.
On Monday, the price of gold per tola dropped by Rs,1,700.
