Islamabad administration revokes NOC for PTI’s rally in Tarnol

The Islamabad administration has canceled the No Objection Certificate (NOC) for the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) rally scheduled to be held in Tarnol tomorrow.

Details reveal that a meeting of the Federal Intelligence Coordination Committee was held, chaired by Chief Commissioner Muhammad Ali Randhawa. Representatives from ISI, MI, IB, and the police attended the meeting.

Moreover, a briefing was provided on the PTI rally in Islamabad’s Tarnol. The decision was made that organising the PTI rally is not feasible for the police and administration.

Because the Tehreek-e-Khatm-e-Nubuwwat will also hold a protest in front of the Supreme Court tomorrow, and various political and religious parties will protest the Mubarak Sani case there.

Additionally, the Bangladesh cricket team is currently in Islamabad, and there are concerns about terrorism threats.

Therefore, organising the PTI rally poses significant risks, and issuing an NOC is deemed unsafe. The meeting concluded that, considering the current situation in Islamabad, no permits for gatherings or rallies can be granted.
