General public holiday declared on August 14 for Independence Day

The federal government has announced a general public holiday across the country on August 14 in celebration of Pakistan’s Independence Day.

Additionally, all banks and financial institutions throughout the country will remain closed on August 14. The State Bank of Pakistan has issued an announcement regarding this.

The announcement states that all banks and financial institutions will be closed on Wednesday, August 14, and there will also be a general public holiday in all government offices and educational institutions across the country.
