Yamaha has launched the YBR125G in a new Metallic Yellow color, featuring Markhor-inspired graphics.

While the bike certainly looks vibrant, it seems Yamaha has followed the same trend that many motorcycle companies in Pakistan have adopted—releasing models with cosmetic changes but no meaningful upgrades to performance or features.

“Introducing the Yamaha YBR125G, now in a new stunning Metallic Yellow color. Brighten up the road as you ride on towards adventure,” the company wrote in a social media post.

“Accompanied by the Markhor inspired graphics that perfectly complement the magnificent Metallic Yellow, the YBR125G lets you set trends and stand out on every road,” it added.

Trend of Cosmetic Changes in the Motorcycle Market

This practice, unfortunately, has become the norm in the local motorcycle market, where manufacturers focus primarily on new color schemes or graphics to market their products as ‘new’ models. Consumers, on the other hand, are left with the same engine, same specifications, and no improvements in technology, safety, or efficiency.
