Britian’s Princess of Wales, Kate Middleton has annouced that she has completed her chemotherapy treatment.
In an emotional video which features her family, Kate said, “As the summer comes to an end, I can’t tell you what a relief it is to have finally completed my chemotherapy treatment.”
She said she looked forward to returning to work, and will undertake a light schedule of public events for the rest of the year.
“Doing what I can to stay cancer free is now my focus,” she continued.
The nature of Kate’s cancer is not confirmed.
This year, King Charles was also diagnosed with cancer. His cancer was discovered during an unrelated procedure for an enlarged prostate.
The Princess of Wales has been largely absent from public life throughout the entirety of 2024. After undergoing a planned abdominal surgery in January, Kate announced in a moving video message in March that she had been diagnosed with cancer.
