Iraq’s court has sentenced three Pakistani youths to death twice on charges of terrorism and robbery.
According to details, the Iraqi court has handed down the death sentence twice to Pakistani youths. The youths were convicted under serious charges of forming a terrorist group and robbery.
Moreover, the convicted youths, Umar Farooq, Haider Ali, and Shoaib Akhtar, were residents of the Qila Deedar Singh area of Gujranwala. Two pistols were also recovered from the youths. The court has granted a 10-day period to appeal the sentence.

In addition, the families of convicted Pakistani youths have appealed to the Government of Pakistan for assistance. They claim that their children were sentenced based on false accusations and are innocent.
Furthermore, the families have appealed to the Prime Minister and the Foreign Minister for help, stating that they lack the resources to file an appeal against the convictions. Therefore, they are requesting that the Pakistani Embassy in Iraq be asked to provide assistance.
